Description
Sam Houston State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Program Director for its unopposed 4-4-4 Family Medicine Residency Program in Huntsville, TX. The Program Director will be responsible for the administration, operation and continued ACGME-accreditation of the residency. In addition to training residents, this individual will serve on various committees and teach medical students and other learners in the outpatient clinic and other settings. Expertise in Family Medicine that includes five year’s, and a minimum of three year’s, documented educational and/or administrative experience, on-going clinical activity, previous leadership experience, as well as excellent clinical and communication skills. The successful candidate will have current AOA or ABFM Family Medicine board certification, and a current unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain a medical license in Texas.
