The Opportunity:
• 100% inpatient Adult psychiatry - no outpatient responsibilities
• Monday-Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• No call, no nights, no weekends - excellent work/life balance
• Rounding on inpatients and responding to psychiatric consult requests on medical/surgical units
• Work closely with experienced Psychiatric PAs, Chair of Psychiatry, and Hospital based-Psychiatry physicians
• Optional academic role - teach NP/PA students during rotations
• Average 13 patients per day
• 7 MDs and 4 APPs
