Description
The Pearl Health Center is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our integrative team as a Primary Care Provider. The Practitioner will provide skillful and compassionate care to our patient population. The provider would work alongside Nurse Practitioners, Naturopathic physicians, licensed mental health counselors, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, and allopathic emergency medicine physicians to provide integrated medical care to patients.
Primary Care Providers at Pearl Health Center:
Ensure optimal patient care and lead and coordinate health care delivery
Identify potential medical and surgical problems by conducting physical examinations; recording patient histories; preparing patient work-ups and summaries; recording normal and abnormal data and tentative conclusions.
Provide direct patient care by coordinating and scheduling appointments; explaining the necessity, preparation, nature, and anticipated effects of procedures to the patient and/or the patient's family; completing laboratory studies; performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor patient progress by carrying-out patient services; maintaining patient records; consulting with consulting physician when patient's progress does not meet anticipated and/or predetermined criteria; arranging consultations.
Improve patient care quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes. Skills/Qualifications: Nursing skills, administering medications, performing diagnostic procedures, cardiovascular knowledge, bedside manner, dependability, emotional control, teamwork, verbal communication, medical teamwork.
Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing APRN or FNP
Unrestricted DEA license (or willing to obtain prior to start)
