OB Hospitalist Locums - North Carolina, PRN 24-Hour Shifts

Inpatient-only OB role in North Carolina with low volume and flexible scheduling through 2026.

Highlights

• 24-hour in-house call; average of just 2 hours callback
• Pick any 5-15 shifts/month through December 2026
• No outpatient work required

Practice Setting

• Inpatient only; no clinic responsibilities
• Level I nursery with peds and anesthesia onsite
• Hospital staff support only; no midwives
• Epic and OBIX charting systems

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts ending by 6 a.m. next day
• PRN style; you choose your availability
• Open dates every month through end of next year

Cases and Procedures

• OB consults, rounding, and deliveries (VBACs included)
• Forceps and family planning consults optional, not required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage all covered
