We are also leaders in clinical research, conducting more than 100 cancer-related studies each year, including National Cancer Institute-sponsored trials and industry research.
A Growing Network of Excellence
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is expanding oncology services to reach more patients in community settings while maintaining seamless access to our larger, integrated cancer network. We are currently hiring for positions in:
- Tacoma (St. Joseph Medical Center)
- Federal Way (St. Francis Hospital)
- Gig Harbor (St. Anthony Hospital)
- Bonney Lake (VMFH Clinic)
Our vision is to grow our oncology service line by bringing expert cancer care into community-based settings, making it more convenient for patients to receive treatment while benefiting from our regional network of specialists.
- Assist with the inpatient management of orthopedic patients including preoperative, perioperative and postoperative care.
- Rotating 24 first call for orthopedic service line.
- First assist in orthopedic surgeries.
- Round on inpatients, coordinate interdisciplinary care with Medical and Trauma teams.
- Consult on ER patients, providing diagnosis, appropriate plan of care and referrals as appropriate.
- Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary.
- Participants in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care.
- Works within a multidisciplinary team.
- Additional duties as assigned by leadership.
